Darn. So I was flipping through channels on mute, and all of a sudden I see Deryck's face. He was being interviewed on the red carpet of the Junos for 'The X', which is like a pop culture-ish show on CBC. I didn't catch any of the interview, but I'll watch the same episode today in about half hour to see it. It was probably a stupid 10 second interview anyways. But good for laughs.

This is exactly how it went:

(intro: 'The Hell Song')

Morgan (interviewer): Hey how's it going? Alright, so, you guys travel on the road a lot. What's it like coming back to Canada? What do you miss the most about Canada?
Deryck: Umm...just friends.
Morgan: You guys like to smash your instruments on stage a lot. Who's instruments here would you most like to smash?
Steve: Simple Plan!
Morgan: Oooh...
Deryck: Hahaha, yeah, Simple Plan.

(cut to Simple Plan interview)
Pierre: That's alright, y'know. They're just mad because we're doing better than them right now.

(back to Sum 41)
Morgan: So it's exciting to be at the Juno's. You guys gonna rock out?
Deryck: Yeah...we're gonna play.
(cut to clip of Pieces live at the Junos)
Morgan: Would you ever fight a robot?
Deryck: A robot?!
Morgan: Yeah, that's another tough one, I know.
Deryck: (high pitched girly laugh) I dunno, maybe.
(cut to clip of Pieces live at Junos)
Morgan: Right on, thanks a lot man. Have fun tonight.
Deryck: Thanks, I will.

Hahah, interesting. Oh ****, they just showed the Alexisonfire interview and I missed it.

I saw one from the Junos where they asked him if he still kept in contact with Paris Hilton and he said "That's old news, man." Not in a nasty way, more like a, ummmm...

The way Simple Plan is doing better than Sum 41 is because they have sold more CDs to the 5-12 year old demographic who want to "rebel", but they wouldn't know the meaning of rebel is it bit their head off. Not to mention the fact that the bratty kids have nothing better to spend their not-so-hard earned money on. Stupid kids.

That was on a long time ago. And Simple Plan is actually doing better than Sum as much as it hurts mme to say. Do you see Sum getting played on TRL and the top hits stations? They ahve different fanbases and sadly the 11 year girls out number us.

Well, I have better things to spend my money but I DON'T get $5 bucks a week. My only pay check is at Chritsmas and at my Birthday. I only have $10 in my bank account, but I did make $10 for babysitting so I guess its really $20. I have to be my mom's slave for the summer because she bought me a portable DVD player for the long bus ride to school. Now if only I had money to buy some good DVDs...

how long is ur bus ride?

mines gonna be a good half hour - 45 mins i would say.

i mite just start taking public transit, but with the money that would cost i may as well just buy a better mp3 player or something.

I get 20 bucks a month fro my Dad "just a little something in case you need to buy stuff" he says. And 5 bvucks from my Mom, but only if I do all my chores i.e. Make my bed (which I usually do only after my Mom reminds me 5 times), pick up my clothes (which I NEVER do, too lazy), clean out the dishwasher, set the table, clean up the kitchen....I realize I should get more than 5 bucks!

Around 45 mintues. Enough time to get in one Buffy episode *air guitar*. But you can only see the episodes "Innocent" where she loses her virginity or "Halloween" here Willow dresses up like a hooker so many times before you get bored.

"Pieces" and "Some Say" get played all the time on the local hits station here, actually. Hear "Pieces" twice yesterday...
